Yoga as a form of physical exercise has evolved from ancient spiritual practices in India which are strongly connected to Hinduism. In the West, however, Yoga has come to be more associated with the postures or asanas of hatha yoga and is often felt to be primarily a way of keeping healthy and fit, although it also frequently includes spiritual elements such as quietening the breath and stilling the mind. There are many forms of Yoga, such as Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Bikram, Iyengar, Kundalini, etc.
