Salt/Sugar Crystals
How to grow salt or sugar crystals
Get a plastic (Paper will leak) container (open top) and fill it about 1/3 full. Put about the same amount of salt/sugar into the container. Stir, and add food colouring if you want to. Then take a string and tie it around a pencil and place the pencil across the top, so that the string is in the water.
Set it in a sunny place, so the water will evaporate quicker. After some time (May take a while) the crystals will form up the string. If you put only the things I listed above, then this is edible, but keep in mind, salt crystals will not taste good, nor the string.
